The Big Summer Brocante - Cowdray Heritage @ Cowdray., West Sussex
23rd -24th June 2017

I produce everyday table and kitchen ware in terracotta and white earthenware. All pieces are designed to be used and loved.

The objects we use every day not only need to serve a purpose but can enhance a moment, gathering or celebration by their beauty. Moments and memories are often underscored by the objects that we use or are surrounded by at any given time e.g. the mug that you always drink your morning coffee from, the custard jug that Mum always used at Sunday lunch and the teapot that so many friends have gathered around over the years.

It is with this ethos in mind that I make pots, not only to be useful and enhance the food served in them but also to bring a sense of beauty and celebration to life’s daily routine and special occasions.

If you would like to buy pottery that you have seen in the Gallery please email or phone: 07884 202459. Payment can be made by BACS, cheque or card.
 I also take commissions.
If an item is out of stock there is a 6 week waiting time for delivery.
This reflects the length of time it takes for pots to be made, dried, glazed and fired in the kiln twice.
I'm very pleased to be featured in the February issue of Hampshire Life as part of an article about the craft history of Petersfield and the surrounding area.
There is a thriving craft community growing in and around the town and the article includes the work of Kate Box of Kate Box Knit and Laura de Zordo, a silversmith who specialises in Turquoise sourced from the southern United States.
